Trying to find the name of the movie I saw years ago...?

I saw a movie when I was little. It was about a woman and her mom who were on a plane that went down in the rain forest. The mother was killed but the woman was the sole survivor. She found her mother, dead, and still strapped to the airplane seat. She wandered around the rain forest for days or weeks. I remember that she fell asleep beside a swamp type place and when she woke up there were maggots? in her back. She discovered some tribe of men or something in the forest who removed them for her with a needle. This is all I really remember of the movie. I watched it probably between 1990-1996.
