Why do people think that Black geniuses are few & far between?

People who think that race determines intelligence are the stupidest in this world. I know of Mr Neil Degre Tyson, he graduated from Harvard and now works at NASA. He is a wonderful man and one of the most brilliant astrophysicists of our times. There are many of his videos on YouTube.
