What does it say about mankind that we are still grapling with exactly the same kinds of issues...?

That we are insane. After all, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Throughout history, haven't we been guilty of using war to solve every problem and trying to fill our pockets up with gold faster than anyone else? A world gone mad, I say. What we need is to infuse our government with some progressive, fresh ideas. The conservatives will never allow that though.
