How do I register my American Stafford shire Terrier? I do not have papers from parents and can't obtain them.?

She is a little over a year old and there's no doubt in my mind that she is pure, but I would like to have some paperwork to back up my certainty! If anyone could help guide me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it!
