What would be a good USED FIRST car for me? What cars are similar to these? 16 years old?

i've got a job and will pay towards insurance, (i know...). i want a car from the mid 90s used, with a V6 engine. i have considered chevrolet camaro, pontiac trans am (firebird), and other cars like that. >>>What are some cars that are similar to these? i like the looks on these cars, i'm not really looking for much speed even though it will go fast i am sure. it will cost around $5000 used.
